Hi all. So who is planning to go to UKGE this year? Are you planning to pitch, do playtesting, etc.?
My plan is to spend most of my time at the playtest zone, largely as a volunteer, but also doing some testing, both of my own games and other people’s.

It would be my first ever board game convention but I highly doubt I’ll have any of my own games in a good enough state to take yet. Definitely hoping to attend as a visitor, if not a volunteer. How do you sign up to volunteer?

It’s likely to be a bit weird and different to usual this year, but I’m looking forward to it anyway.

There was an update from the organisers today, saying that the event is still expecting to go ahead despite the delay of the UK’s ending of Covid restrictions. And also clarifying the testing requirements, which are likely to be either show an SMS response from doing a government lateral flow test, or no requirement at all. At least that is a lot less vague than the earlier info.
