This idea came to me in a dream. It was awesome, but all over the place, very dream-like.
Not a restaurant management game, but a cooperative dish cooking game. Does anyone have thoughts how how to execute this?
Some ideas from the dream are a community pot/pan in the center of all players, and the objective was to complete a dish by adding ingredients, then cooking the dish for a determined number of turns.
Of course a player could sabotage the dish by adding strange ingredients, or making the dish cooking for more or less turns, etc, so maybe there is an element of hidden actions/secret decision making. I don’t know, could be fun to noodle on. 🙂

I like the idea of everyone putting in ingredients, but not having perfect information on what they’re trying to make.

The fun part, I think, is if you could make a way where, at a certain point, the recipe is as close as it can get to being right, instead

Instead you choose to claim points. And you get points based on how true to the recipe you are.
Apologies for the six day interim. My account went a bit crazy.
Either that, or I’m time traveling-really badly.

Ooooo, that sounds cool. I like that it’s sort of a press your luck vibe!

Considered a co-op? Each player has a specialty (veggies, meat, spices, dairy, grains, etc.) and dishes become increasingly difficult to complete. Similar to how ‘The Crew: Quest of Planet 9’ becomes increasingly difficult.

Oh, that’s fun! I’m getting Hell’s Kitchen vibes from this, with chaos running rampant when players aren’t in sync. Lol
