I’d be glad give your game documents a once over.
Put my grammar snobbery to work!
-
Hi Todd, thanks for volunteering your grammar snobbery. While obviously a work in progress, I have page formatted the rules for presentation. While some think this should be left for the end and yes it has paralyzed me at times, I am at the stage where clear rules make all the difference for further development.
Here is link to pdf in my google drive: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mtH4Pszw4GqOV2HtGsTLRkNqVUk7UFv0/view?usp=sharing
Any and all feedback is appreciated.
Take care and have a great day.

I’m glad to help. There are two documents ahead of you in my queue.
Editing your own documents is exceedingly difficult. Having a fresh and different pair of eyes is essential. Clarity in rules is also vital. A misplaced or missing comma can change the meaning of a whole paragraph!

Thanks Todd. This sounds pretty awesome.
Take care and have a great day.

Just wanted to drop in here and say Todd had some fantastic feedback on my rules that makes them make a lot more sense! Now I’m able to start getting this thing play tested (will be posting soon) and further developed.
Thanks again Todd! 🤜💥🤛

Thank you so much! These two games are very short on rules: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ql2uMsrsUM6UjKRxoFor_PAB9B9-ZDa1UuhdeRooH9k/edit?usp=drivesd

And this is the second one:https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Z0MU04BDMioGoKkeI8i6d9_g9jhOZHrXorZTlSw5S_E/edit?usp=drivesdk

They are both going to be on KS at the same time, so no priority. Thanks!

Hi Todd…
Maybe you have time to take a look at my rulebook as well. But be prepared, is not an easy task 🙂 After many reviews and changes, I take responsibility for what kind of game I create. Different, hard, as it has never been seen before (lol). At least that’s what many say, when they make first contact with it, and for me, that’s a good thing.
I am very busy testing and preparing the Kickstarter campaign, and I got to the point where I will not modify something (theme, components etc.) just for the sake of reducing the apparent complexity of the game or to bring it into the “ordinary”.
The only question is whether rules could be more “friendly” for beginners. Some people have tried to simplify my rules, but anyway, I need unequivocal rules.Details are here:
https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/city-break
including the rulebook, and even a link if you want to try the game on Tabletop Simulator (TTS)
regards,
George

Hi Todd, I’ll keep you in mind in the near future once I’ve finished my 3rd draft rules.
I have a feeling you’ll never be short of work here!

Hey Todd. Thank you for offering this service. I have a very short first draft of the rules to Bee Ball. Please take a look when you get a chance. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1X2s8aCCG5SXdCPlRsYiT8ZroODL7_5q9MZLOylEkoBM/edit?usp=sharing

I too could use some help. My game Zero-X is fairly complex but if you don’t have much time, I have one section in particular that I don’t feel I’m explaining very well/clearly.
If not no worries, thanks for supporting the community.

Hey Erryboddy!
Of late I’ve been focusing on my 18 Card RPG entry, so my editing has been on hold.
My primary job is taking care of my 3- and 5-year-old girls and housework. I’m a stay-at-home dad. This makes opportunities to focus on reading rare. When my oldest starts kindergarten it should be a bit easier.
I do want to provide this help; I’m just busy. I recommend looking for additional help if you’re in a time crunch. Thank you for your patience.
