I had this idea come to me after i had read, I believe on bgdl+, someone ask if anyone knew a game where set collection was used for gaining resources instead of points, and I thought; What if you had a mechanism, where all your resources, let’s say 4 resources, had numbers going from 1 to 10. On your turn, to gather resources you played non-breaking resource numbers; you would play for instance, #1 coal, #2 coal, #5 iron. In my hand I have a #6 coal. But the only way I could play it is if I had not played the #5 iron. Since I did, it broke the resource into a new one, and so I would have to continue going up with iron from there, with #6 iron and up. Has anyone heard of something like this? I like the idea. I wonder if it’s been done.
